Our Story

Carte Blanche is a locally owned and operated cafe located in the historic downtown of Willow's, California.  The owners Kristine and Hilgard bought an old building that had been vacant for over a decade. They spent countless hours over the course of 16 months building the Cafe with their own two hands. Carte Blanche opened on Valentines Day (February 14), 2020, just three weeks before the 2020 COVID shutdowns.  Through perseverance, support from the community and a bit of luck the cafe has been able to remain open. The owners pride themselves on giving back to the community and providing great service, great food and great company to all of their patrons.
